What’s The Difference?
That’s the question many asked when seeing HD television for the first time. At first glance, there doesn’t appear to be much difference, but over time we tend to pick up on the subtle details and eventually they are no longer subtle! The difference in our frame-by-frame method of capture is a dramatic improvement over off-the-wall recording of a project image, but even compared to other similar methods of capture ours stands out. The entire frame is captured, beyond the frame edge if you request it (and always beyond the left and right edge for HD captures), and we re-capture any portions with even the smallest hair in the corner or if a high-contrast scene requires a locked in exposure to get the most important detail out of the image shadows and highlights.
Sniper HD Pro
The last iteration from the wizards at MovieStuff, it combines old projector parts with modern technology such as an LED bulb.
Sniper 16 HD
The Sniper 16 is the bigger, badder version of the Sniper HD Pro. It's built like a tank, for 16mm transfers.
The innovators at Black Magic Design created the Intensity Pro to allow lossless editing of Motion JPG files in High Definition.
Each department (photo, film, video/audio) has a single manager, and they are solely responsible for the project once it is approved and ready for processing. Our culture of honest, respectful communication helps to set the correct expectations for each project and to make clients aware of even the smallest flaws in their media to avoid surprises and to be sure we have captured at the highest level possible. With a small team of less than 10 full-time staff, we have a tight-knit group where each feels responsible to the client and takes ownership of the work being delivered.
Every order is inspected upon arrival at our studio. We make sure that the cost estimate is accurate, and that any questions we have about organization, unusual media types, or custom requests are answered before proceeding. Throughout the process your order is kept in its own clear container and every workstation has only one order being digitized at a time
